Painting with Light
My approach to photographic art is learning how to read the light around us. Light can be elusive, unyielding, and unforgiving. But it can also whisper some of the secrets of the universe if you are in the right place at the right time. As a younger photographer I thought I could dominate and control light for my own purposes. In my seasoned years, I’ve learned to be malleable. Perceptive. Instead of imposing my will, I look for ways to dance with the light that shows up.
